I went and checked wikipedia and I think they have the p-class wrong. They say that the 11 inch turrets fire over the 5 inch turrets but they are wrong. If you go on any other website with the p class cruiser they always show the 5 inch turrets behind the big turrets. Such a design with the larger turrets firing over the small ones is completely unethical. If you go on google images you will see that all results show the big turrets out in front. You can't always believe wikipedia they seem to have a lot of mistakes regarding prototype ships or ones that never leave the drawing board.

But front section of the ship is to narrow, you can place small usecondary armament in this front section, or leave it empty, under the turret is huge and deep hole/shaft there is not enough place for triple 280 in place where 150 dublet is. Most of images of P-class shows torpedo tubes on deck, and elliptic stern. This ship is almost as long as Sharnchorst (5m shorter) but is 4 meters narrower then she. There is no rule that secondary armament must be in second position from bow or aft. I know that she looks strange but this make sense. Remember that you need place for 12 MAN diesel engines, fuel bunkers, armour, crew, and torpedo compartment, as you have 6 submerged torpedo tubes.

Final version. Gentleman, this is project P Panzershiff.
Heavily inspired by Graff Spee. So... she can't be called P 1. I need name for her. But now, some photos from shakedown cruise.

I think the best look first version

and what I think is the most vital historical compliance

but may be a different approach which can be seen on this link

So this is the reason why Deutchland, Spee and Scheer have do many differences in look and construction?

Hey scramasax how is it going so far? Oh by the way me and my friends think you need to make a playable H-45.

I did something wrong with *.sim file so I have CTD in this moment. Next will be O-class I have original plans downloaded from http://www.dreadnoughtproject.org/ . Then H39 projects H from 42 up are to big, but who knows ;)

Ok so it's settled then, put a sea port off deap water to allow under water clearance for H45's hull. Then make the ship. I can't wait to try out those 30inch rail guns.

Don't worry about the O class. You know you can't resist the urge to make the all powerfull H-45. You could make history by making the largest playable surface warship in the history of Silent Hunter.

Hehe. by accident I simulate critical fire in ammo depot. I split bow torpedo room zone in two. so if one is destroyed crew members that tray to repair it die. sadly, ship don't sinks, and they can't repair this damage. So I won't be using this. I'm still working on the best zone and damage model. Is it possible to add new zones? I need 3 and 4 diesel engine for proper damage and sinking model.

As project H version 44 I have ammo for this monster. Do you really want to shot thru destroyer or light cruiser? If more ppl want this monster I may start working at him. But if you really want this monster I will make whole short campaign for this thing. And I promise that this will be glorious way to die ;) if you don't like RAF in game, I promise you will hate them ;D
(must build Tallboy and Grand Slam)

But my one person shipyard is building P class now, then O class and H39.

Yes we want the monster, once you are done with the p class you should start on the H-44. We almost had an H-44 from Chinese U-47 but he only had it about 80% complete before he left the forums.

Pozdrowienia :D
