British record companies started making it a habit to leave single songs they were pushing for big sales off of albums. This is why there are the two "Past Masters" CDs now. I still have a fond memory of my brother and I having to beg Pop to watch the Ed Sullivan Show when the Beatles made their first appearance.
Afterward, dad commented that they would be a flash in the pan and forgotten within a year. I begged to differ. :haha: Wasn't the first time I proved my father wrong. |
