I feel you call me "dawg,dog" or dude and I don't like it from a stranger in particular.Now if I know someone personally I don't mind being called bro or something of the like brah is what a native Hawaiian says in place of bro I learned that from Hawaiian friends in military.I have a friend that calls his good friends "dot".

I have never read Uncle Si before so I assume that this is something that people direct at you personally for some reason.

I know a man a former Airborne Ranger his birth name was Floyd he hated this name and had it legally changed when he was eighteen to Rock(this was years before the wrestler "The Rock" was around).He really disliked being called Floyd if you called him this he would chase you down and either put you in a sleeper hold or a reverse armbar depending on his mood.He claimed that is fellow Rangers would call him "pretty boy Floyd" to get him worked up during exercises and they also did this during combat in Panama back in 1989 it worked pretty well apparently.Rock is pretty feared I have seen him get total strangers to stop fighting merely by speaking in normal voice to them some how they can just sense not mess with him and he is not a cop.
