And they had to put the face of the actor again in the intro...:-?

Hope Alex Kingston is not gone for good.

Rgr that.

Xmas special...so-so.

I thought it was pretty good. Steven Moffat seems to prefer concentrating on the characters rather than the "things" and Matt Smith's transformation from a mood of bitter indifference to his "normal" manic-self was fun to watch.

SWMBO borrowed the available DVD's from one of her friends so we've spent much time with The (older) Doctor's over the holidays. Had watched a couple of Tom Baker episodes when they were new but really had never enjoyed the series until she forced me to watch Christopher Eccleston's Ninth Doctor when the series revived.

You have to love a show where the alien Butler greets you with a threat of violent death while offering to take your coat.

Well, it's just a little nod to the past...and most people adore it.
But if you don't like it, it's fine

I've met Sylvester McCoy, and Colin Baker, and seen Eve Myles. Might get to see Peter Davison next year, who knows. Nice people though. :yep:

There are audio stories of Dr Who and off shoot stories from here...

Search amazon as well for cheaper prices, I bought all the SAPPHIRE & STEEL stories at a cheaper price.

Don't know what the Dr Who ones are like, have wondered about buying a couple of stories.
