At one point I had the GFO mod with RSRDC 4.1 running. 4.1 is the only version of RSRDC that works with GFO. The other versions were TMO/RSRDC and OM/OMEGU/Kiub. I liked 'em all. Multi SH4 made it possible.

Incidentally, and I do not intend to rain on anyone's parade, but I think JGSME creates a mod folder, so it is not imperative that one be created. If you do, it doesn't screw up the mod file set up.

Now I have to get back to something important---watch more reruns of the Adams Family featuring Cousin Itt. (I wish he lived in MY fireplace.)

Blargh! Have you tried the stuff it says about Run as Administrator and/or in Compatibility Mode?

Yep, got the MODS folder created automagically, as well. I did, however check and follow the step by step instructions before I had even fired it up.

Oh yes... and around here these big mods reign supreme.

Right on the money.

Well....I'm back bugging you....I followed the instructions step by step, double-checking everything as I went along. I put the MultiSH4 exe into the new SH4 folder, ran it, and got the "Filemanager.dll Not Found" message, so I replaced it (several times) with a copy from the original SH4, and it still gives me the error message....(as noted on the last two lines of the Readme file....) :damn: Soooo, what next..??

Are some of you actually running multiple installations..??

Gus.

Ok..OK..OK...I got it to run....The instructions are WRONG..!! Or just a little loose on the terminology. They state to place MultiSH4 in the new FOLDER...WRONG-It goes in the game FILES.

In any event...I'm a happy sub-simmer....:salute:

I am. As a matter of fact, I just tried out MultiSH4 myself, having recently acquired the Uboat expansion and doing a fresh start.

Have you tried this:

  1. right-click MultiSH4.exe in Windows Explorer or My Computer
  2. select "Run as Administrator"
  3. run MultiSH4
and/or
  1. right-click MultiSH4.exe in Windows Explorer or My Computer
  2. select "Properties" > Compatibility tab
  3. check "Run this program in compatibility mode"
  4. in the box below select "Windows XP (Service Pack 2)"
  5. run MultiSH4
The only other alternative I can think of is that you've somehow acquired an older version of the application, which doesn't recognize 1.5. Can you point me to where you downloaded it, please? Also, did you do this on a clean install of SH4, i.e. fresh install with no mods installed previously?

*is baffled* :hmmm:

ETA: Nevermind LOL! Glad you got it working!
