Yes, I've also heard lots of positive stuff about the weather...apparently it's very rare to have snow down there, a nice change for an old (okay, not so old) Swede! :D But I gather it's rather overcrowded? :hmmm:

Now, my personal opinion of this matter?

Bollocks, all of it. Except the Stop Kony part. I have no problem in seeing warlords of his kind being captured and put to justice, that's all fine and good. I do not, however, approve of an organization that basically supports an armed force that rapes and pillages their way through the countryside in order to capture him. One sin does not justify the other. And all that.

It all depends on which part you travel to. I hear the deepest parts are rather cold.

Overcrowded? Half my family is there already -- and that's only the beginning. :D

Topic at hand:
I don't really have much of an opinion on the subject of Kony. If a person has read enough about the last forty or fifty years in Africa they will have seen pictures of at least a few of these guys. It's nothing new. We will see more of them in the years to come. Social awareness won't stop it. The world powers will not stop it completely. It's one of those things that will have to settle on its own terms. That could take decades. Don't be too surprised by it. :-?

Read links?????you must be Joe King.

It deals with some of the criticisms but doesn't deal with the accusations of inaccuracies or misrepresentation or its outdatedneess and while complaining about oversimplification by others indulges in more massive oversimplification itself....thats what I thought anyway.
