You are no the only Scot on the website mate. Personally I am sick to death of that baked potato (Salmond) Salmond and the SNP have already shot themselves in the foot and will not win the Independence vote.

Baron von Neukastle, with special responsibility for rebuilding Hadrians Wall :smug:

That makes you one of the 62% currently not in favour then.

I'll put my money on you :03:

I had to laugh when some numty was quoted on the news this morning as saying Scotland would be the 6th richest nation on earth should they gain independence :DL

Sorry but I can't remember who the individual was

It does indeed. With all his new green nonsense and his laughable sectarian laws that he has introduced he has angered the majority of Scots (forgot his minimum price on drink lol)

Lmao I remember reading that a wee while back. I can't remember who that clown is either but he is clearly 1 of Salmonds crew. Oh yeah and for that photo of the wind farm, ITS HIDEOUS!!!! EVIL!!!!

They aired the Scottish Parliamentary debate live on BBC news this morning and I was quite shocked at how arrogant he was toeard the female leader of the Scottish Labour Party.

My understanding is that should independance become a reality he expects Westminster to maintain responsibility for defence :o

Would its purpose be to keep those Scottish barbarians out of England or English hooligans out of Scotland? :hmmm:

In regards to defense I understood that this would only happen if Salmond was only able to achieve Independence Light.

I can see why, that is one narrow transit into that port. Shock trials weren't even that hairy.

The Nats are very anti nuke - regardless of whether it be nuclear weapons or nuclear power.

I know, they would rather we pay much more from green energy...I can't wait for the blackouts...

I don't think that's true either, but to be honest I don't think we would do much better or worse than any other small European nation.

As for the polls, I know that the percentage in favour jumped about 10% after Cameron's statement.

I've an idea, lets poll people on whether they would be in favour of allowing Westminster to become independent of the rest of Britain. Then we can seal them off and the rest of us can get on with living on a windy, damp island in the north Atlantic.

To be honest, I just can't see the point. I am perfectly capable of taking the piss out of the English football team as it is. :D

And he's right I think. I can't imagine HMG not defending Scotland from a foreign attacker regardless of what arrangement is made.

So If Scottland leaves, will Northern Ireland and Wales follow?:hmmm:

That's one of the things that has been bugging me about the SNP - they want us to live in some Utopian paradise where our electric cars are run by what we can produce from endless wind-farms (that are known to blow up when it gets too windy,) or wave power or what have you, yet the corner stone of their future economic policy seems to be 'as much north sea oil as we can drag from the seabed'. Is it just be or is there a basic dichotomy between those two points?

Yeah, along with the Republic of Ireland, Cornwall and Brittany we shall form a Northern League of Celtic Alcoholics where poetry and fighting will become the national currency.

Oh I forgot about the Isle of Man. But that's ok - everyone forgets about the Isle of Man..:)
