I'd say you hit the nail on the head!
:yeah:
Compare Cars to Browsers once!
Dodge is better then Chevy and so on!!
It's personnal choice people!!

But when you start calling others Stupid for choice of Browser or Cars?

We are going to see a big arsed fight with no winners.

So I'll insult right now.
If you don't know how to use IE?
You're an IDIOT!!
:haha:

Have Mommy or Daddy setup your stuff cause you don't have the brain power to do it yourself.

It's official: People who use Firefox are so insecure about it that they have to start fanclubs and try to convince themselves they're better! Kind of like Windows users say about Mac users.

My experience: Firefox made certain sections of my favorite homepage not work. I'm sure it's long since fixed, but I didn't like the hassle. I guess I'm one of the dumb ones, just like Frau, Privateer and MH.

The question I would ask is....which is the most popular/commonly used? :yep:

Gerald 07-30-11 05:42 PM

Firefox,I would say.

Reece 07-30-11 06:25 PM

Like Jim I use both, 95% of the time FF but some business sites (banking etc) will just not work with FF, I then have to use IE!:hmmm:

But this doesn't surprise me because IE is the one that comes with the computer, and most people, dumb or not, don't bother to fool around with it.

This fact is based precisely on that IE come with the computer, but is not used as frequently ... so statistics in this I see as questionable.

IE users are dumb? Hmm... no wonder I don't use it.

Never used IE, except to download Firefox on the first computer.

For the second one Microsoft lost a court battle with the EU, so it came with Firefox.

A few years ago I traded in Firefox for Opera, and am very happy with it.

Rilder 07-31-11 12:43 AM

I used IE for ages but eventually moved on, on this computer its been firefox all the way, though I don't like the direction the devs of it are taking with their new versions so I'm not updating it.

Kazuaki Shimazaki II 07-31-11 12:54 AM

I'm not updating Firefox after I realized Google Toolbar stops working with FF5.

(Don't tell it it is a spyware tool. Who cares. Google knows all about my Net life already so I might as well get some convenience like auto web translation)

antikristuseke 07-31-11 01:07 AM

I have been using Opera for years now simply because it has features which I use that do not exist in IE and I am more comfortable with it than with either chrome or firefox due to years of usage.

I've tried out other browsers but didn't see any reason to switch over permanently when there didn't appear to by any advantages to doing so.

Me too.
