http://www.straubs.net/images/biergart/rhine-sm.jpg Well, ideally it'd be the Litre jug on the left, but I'm not a greedy person :arrgh!: |
Bitburger is from the barbaric regions across the river. And the glasses are about 0.3 liters, my guess is that the Einbecker next to it is also 0.3 as it comes in 0.33 bottles - never drank it from a glass ;)
I have never tasted the Aventinus in the middle, but the pale color makes it look like used beer... Here is a size comparision: http://img197.imageshack.us/img197/6...8010055849.jpg Our delicious brew is the one in the middle. On the left, in the flower vase, is the "beer" from Cologne, also in 0.2l "glasses". The picture shows a dangerous situation, if the Alt and Kölsch glasses would touch each other, the world would explode...:o |
Should I feel honored my necro'd bday thread has turned into a beer thread?

I preffer the 0.3 glasses. I can't drink a pint fast enough without that nice cold beer turning into a warm glass of stinking liquid. I usually order two small bottles (0,3) than one regular (0,5) to keep it cold |
Happy smurfin' B-day.:salute::woot:

necro bump
hey, maybe we'll keep this thread alive till Gargamel's next bday! :DL Quote:
I don't understand those primitive tribes in the South, like the Bavarians, who let their beer become warm in their 1l Mass glasses. Quote:
I mean this is the equivalent to saying "Happy satanic bday" to a devout Christian :D |

And how do the Slovenes fill the glass, with liquid or foam? :hmmm: :arrgh!: |
