Generally places of historical significance or learning value. :yeah:

Great, that sounds lovely, what temperatures are in the air, and in the water, :up:

Air temp between 80-100 degrees. Water temp in the 70 degree area. We have a lovely time. Looking forward to relaxing. Last years vacation was a a blistering 5 days at Disneyland. Had an awesome time but very exhausting going to 6 parks in 5 days! We would do it all over again though! :DL

Vacation? va-ka-shun? :hmmm:

<dictionary.com>

Latin vac---257;ti---333;n- (stem of vac---257;ti---333; freedom from something; see vacate, -ion); replacing Middle English vacacioun < Anglo-French >

:hmmm::hmmm:

Still not clear on the concept. Is this one of them French type words?

Hope the weather still holds true, everything becomes a little easier now and it will not be as high air humidity, :yep:

Vacation means more people flying and more work for me :O: I guess this ash cloud may even things out a tad!

I clearly arranged a free translation book in any language for you, :O:

I remember taking my first real vacation as an adult (real as in going away someplace to have fun) about 3 years ago (I was 46). The way things are going now, it will be another 25 years before my next one. :nope:

Kudos to the people who have the time and the money to get away. I am envious. :yep:

Congratulations Chad...wishing you both many years of happiness together :up:

Holiday wise...just got back from a short 4 day break in Hale/Chester and seeing as our trip to Alaska fell through last year (dependant on my sons shipping company 'Holland - America' having availability) we hope to do that this year but if no availability again it will be a visit to a travel agent one morning with the hope of a flight somewhere a day or two after.

My mate and his wife do that a lot, best deal was 5* all-inclusive for 10 days in Dominican Republic for £350 each!!! All they asked for was 'West'.

I've been threatening to do that since I retired but am usually afraid (when the time comes) of getting the package deal nobody else wanted :DL

There are definitely mega bargains to be had out there if your lucky though....the real fear being a fortnight of nagging from SWMBO if your luck is of the bad variety :doh:
