I read the statistics, informative, maybe accurate But what would be the solution to this perceived problem for those of us who don't belong in this group surveyed? Would I or anyone else have to be subject to the same laws enacted in an attempt to prevent these nitwits from shooting each other?

Darwin would approve, if idiots and morons want to off each other, let them.

I understand what is written here above, but it seems unbelievable that you of all the thousands of members are the only one who has this error, :nope:

Jim spreekt Nederlands? There's a surprise for me. How come you learnt a little Dutch Jim?

But to go ontopic; I'm glad gun ownership is very restricted here, but it's historically so much intertwined with American culture I understand banning guns there isn't applauded by a large part of the population. It seems to me it's more than just defending yourself, the fact that you can own a weapon in the US also has a symbolic function. Again, I'm glad you can't just go out and buy a weapon here, but I understand why you can in the US.

He lived here for a while;)

Maar ik vraag me ook af hoeveel Nederlands je nou eigenlijk spreekt, Jim. Laat eens wat zien:D

Don't know if you understand German, but there is a famous sketch from German TV, it is quite a classic over here. Ugly wife and husband behind the paper sitting at the breakfast table, no word. Suddenly says she in a pathetic emotional voice:
"Als ich heute morgen aus dem Fenster sah, da graute der Morgen!"
Balks he behind the paper:
"Dem Morgen."
:har:

Was this from a Loriot sketch?

A loose translation to keep the meaning:

"When i looked out of the window, the morning broke"
"When you looked out of the window the morning broke down"

Hey just because you beat us in WW2 through the deadly Slotermeyer joke, does not mean that we secretly develop our own improved jokes :O:
However you won't find good comedy in mainstream tv, here is an exception:

The history of the british monarchy, explained with the help of Playmobil

Sorry it's only in German, if some people are interested, I can subtitle it.
