Team Bondi's amazing animation was on full display here, actually succeeding in turning facial animations into gameplay. When you ask people questions, they'll react in a certain way. Sometimes it's obvious that they're lying, since they won't look you in the eye after their response. Other times, you might just notice a subtle tic that tips you off. You'll have to read their voices and expressions in order to figure out where they stand. Are they trying to hide something? Or are they just deeply saddened by the news of the murder?
That should answer your fears.

Looks great, my question is there are four official pre-order outlets here in the UK and each offers a different downloadable bonus, which to get?:

The Naked City - Vice desk case and badge pursuit challenge

A Slip of the Tongue - Traffic desk case

The Brodderick - Detective suit and pistol (increased fist-fighting capability)

The Sharpshooter - Detective suit and pistol (increased weapon aiming)

:o:stare::doh:

Probably The Brodderick as it's through Amazon :smug:

I think I'll go with the game.uk edition, extra case() + extra suit ()
Do you have good experiences with game .co.uk? Even with p+p it's about 15 € cheaper than ordering it here.

Btw: for our northern european friends: the edition for the nordic countries includes the naked suit case - seems like all retailers sell this version.

I was just looking at this game. If it is anything like Red Dead Redemption that someone mentioned in the thread I will be getting the game. I looked at the latest trailer. The game looks great.

Any word on online?

I really liked Red Dead Redemption and it's online was equally as good.

I just hope LA Noire has some good Online play.

SP only at this point in time.

Although A co-op mode would be fitting.

I did not know Red Dead had online play. :hmmm: I completed the SP game much to my dismay as I was enjoying the heck out it.

Looking forward to the game! :yeah:

4 weeks to go.

The first people from fansites had a chance to play a nearly-final version of the game:
http://rockstarhq.multiplayernetwork.net/featured/60/
(links to 6 other previews are at the bottom of the page)

It is said that the map is actually bigger than the one of Red Dead Redemption, about 8 square miles and obviously more crowded - one preview mentioned that there are actually only few remote areas. Here's a link to the map: http://img688.imageshack.us/img688/2640/mapwg.jpg

For those of you getting LA Noire for the 360:
http://www.gametrailers.com/news/l-a...-on-three/3330
Short version: LA Noire will be shipping on 3 360 disks. Alternatively the PS3 version will be 1 blu-ray although it's rather close to it's 25gig capacity.

LA Noire will probably have a mandatory install for PS3 users.

Were in the final countdown :D. Just received a text from gamestop that my game will be ready Tuesday at 12 am. Too bad I'll be working.

SgtPotato 05-16-11 07:00 PM

I'll be there at Gamestop for the Midnight release!

That's strange.
