Fairey Gannet is one of the UK's ugliest aeroplanes! It makes the Swordfish look sleek and modern in comparison :D

@Oberon it's the target towing livery, although very similar to the training livery, and this is supposed to be from RAF Seletar and/or Changi in Singapore. Trawled as I might through pics upon pics in books and good old google I can find no evidence of a Meteor with a black tail fin. At least not whilst also in TT colours.

The other Meteor is in 208 Sqn colours, and I'm pleased to say that they the squadron, not the Meteors) are still very much flying today with Hawks from Valley. :D
