If you were descended from a Highlander and needed a reaaaally tenuous excuse to justify your Anglophobia, then maybe. It's worth pointing out to people that the 1745 Rebellion was a war between Protestant Scots and English against a foreign-born Catholic prince who barely spoke English (and who, like the rest of his family, was keen on the idea of King as a divinely-appointed autocrat), and the Gaelic-speaking Catholic Highlanders who supported him - not a simple "England vs Scotland" affair.
As far as the SNP go, I wouldn't **** in their mouths if they were dying of starvation. Despite their excuses, the fact is that the majority of their grassroots support is based on plain old ugly Anglophobia. I can't think of another group in the UK which is more responsible for fostering bigotry and outright hatred. The only group that is worse are the Engurlanders, and even then they're largely a reaction to Welsh and Scottish nationalism.
