Happy New Year all - it has been the shortest day of the year here since I didn't wake up until almost 3 PM this afternoon. :O:

Actually I woke up earlier but I've taken to wearing a sleep mask at night to see if shutting out extraneous light would help me fall and stay asleep easier... uh, so, yeah, it works. :D

Problem is if I don't have the alarm set to get up at a particular time, and I wake up naturally and half open my eyes, I've forgotten about the mask and everything is still pitch black and I think it's the middle of the night and go back to sleep. Imagine my surprise when I woke up for the third or fourth time today and thought - oh now it can't still be the middle of the night, it was almost 4 AM when I went to bed... and lift the mask and check the clock and it's mid-afternoon. OOPS!

Oh well I guess I needed the sleep. :rock:

I'm leaving 2010 with an 11-hour Marx Brothers marathon. I'm not sure it gets better than that. :O:

I'm leaving 2010 on as much BSG Season 3.0 as I can fit into 12 beers and two lobster tails. :D

You're gonna need more than 12 beers if you expect to get any lobster tail. I hear it takes that much just to get them drunk enough to let you wrap those little rubber bands around their claws.
