Try spending time in Califonia's sister state New York , god it blows here.

@ Duc
So when you get around to moving there, give me a buzz and we can do lunch. I have family in the area, but I haven't been there in years. I am good on my word for lunch.:D

The grass is not always greener on the other side. When it is greener it is often also filled with manure hence the nice shade of green.

I think CA is the last place I would want to live. No wait, AK would be the last. The cold would kill me plus I would have to watch the pesky Russians from my front porch. :stare:

:yep:

He really is.

Funny Utah story: Not so many years ago, when most establishments in the Salt Lake Valley still had hitching posts (A girlfriend and I once tied up her horses in front of a Taco Bell) we had a story in the newspaper about an incident in Magna, on the west side of the valley near the Oqquirh Mountains. It seems that two friends were drinking in a bar there, got drunk and got into a shouting match. Rather than coming to blows, one of the gents went outside, unhitched his friend's horse and "tried to sell it to a woman walking by on the sidewalk". The friend called the police, who of course had to arrest the offender. The next day the friend sobered up and decided not to press charges, but the Assistant District Attorney stayed up the whole night looking for something to charge him with, finally settling on "Attempting to sell property that did not belong to him."

You see, in 1985 "Horse Theft" was still punishable by hanging, and the ADA didn't want to risk it.

Can't really go wrong in the 4 corners, pretty in every direction.

I love calling North Carolina Home, medium weather, mountains or beach, moderate overall. Only thing in common illegals are here in mass.

In my travels I really like the North Carolina/South Carolina border area
farthest inland.
And around the Raccoon Valley area in Tennessee.

It's like siberia here in NW illinois. but the girlfriend and I are planning on moving to Finland, so I'm sure this is something like a summer day.
always wanted to live somewhere cold though.

If you plan to go to Finland, Dowly will be an excellent guide for your journey, :yep:

They've done much more than you think about it, but it's like leaving a safe distance between you and the car in front of you.

I meant the states themselves. Monument valley is pretty cool, though I prefer mountains.
