If you should ever run out of practise targets, we've got a nice government over here where you can't hit someone undeserving....:shifty:

Why stop at the German government? She can do a world tour!

So, Subsims first Kunoichi, or perhaps Onna Bugeisha? Congratulations! :salute:

Should you change your username to Tomoe Gozen?

Tomoe was especially beautiful, with white skin, long hair, and charming features. She was also a remarkably strong archer, and as a swordswoman she was a warrior worth a thousand, ready to confront a demon or a god, mounted or on foot. She handled unbroken horses with superb skill; she rode unscathed down perilous descents. Whenever a battle was imminent, Yoshinaka sent her out as his first captain, equipped with strong armor, an oversized sword, and a mighty bow; and she performed more deeds of valor than any of his other warriors.

Yea I noticed that it was a Katana kata. Is your Katana a really good one? Or rather do you have a real Katana other than the wooden practice one?
Or even made by a Japanese sword master craftsman? That could cost considerable money.

There is this company in Japan that I have been dreaming of dealing with. They make swords the traditional way. Just the blade of a Katana is about $1500 and you still need the rest of the stuff. These are custom made swords. I have a "nice" one I used to pathetically practice iaidō. as well as some bokken and shinai.

It has always been one of my dreams to make the time to really get into iaidō. Watching it is a spiritual experience. :yep:

I give enough people grief about written language skills that I never know when I'm getting my own back. When it happens I try to accept it with grace, but in cases like this it's hard to tell.

Congrats Frau Karate:woot:

Haha, as someone who's done Karate for a couple of years and failed (through no fault of the art itself, but just because of my personality), I salute your success :salute:

And I mean hey, that's gotta just feel good. That kind of praise from your sensei must be quite a reward in itself :)

Also congrats from me!

I'll join in and bring my chainsaw! Due to the British defence cuts the scene from above can't happen anymore!

yea I know they are expensive some of the master made are even worth much more than 1.5k I think and the craftsman actually meditate for some time before making them :DL. As long as they don't imbue it with spirit I'm fine. Properly made(traditional) Katanas are exceptional sword!

Just remembered...I bought a Katana many years ago (1977) from Taiwan of all places

I must interject and remind everyone that while this is wonderful and does indeed deserve accolades, Frau Kaleun's deadliest weapon is still that frightening wit. :sunny:

You can buy a katana from here as well but they are just cheap copy the real katana is the traditionally hand made one by a master sword smith.
