That said, it is indeed easily fixable in post-production. |
Skwasjer,
I found it's not S3D. It's the models themselves. SH5 uses the Granny System as we know. As the models in the GR2 files are direct imports from 3dS Max? They follow the RAD Games exporter Rules to the GR2 file. On exporting the exact stuff from the GR2 files? I found that for some reason, verts that should be welded are not. It could be that the model was built that way before exporting it? I'd think that was the case as at $12,000 a shot? I doubt RAD would screw up that bad. Or the Dev's adjusted something that cause this? I don't know. I do know that I get an exact export as in the gr2 files as I have followed the information in Hex as well as what the GrannyViewer gives us. That is where, as you may remember, I talked about adding a new feature that would allow the exporter to pre-process somethings. Welding some of those verts would assist for a conversion to SH3/SH4 There is alot of overhead in some of the models when converting to SH3/SH4 |
Great work fellas! Nice to see some more and slightly unusual aircraft getting added to the game.

I can finish a few things and you'll see some more. :yep: One of them is an 'Upside-Downer' AirCraft. :03: Boomerang ring a bell? |
Now I know where the Devs got that abomination of a PBY for SH5. PBYs did NOT have 3 engines.
This BV 138 for SH3 looks great tho. |
How refreshing to have a new German plane, well done.:up:
