Happy Times 10-31-10 01:20 PM

Woke up and took a morning run.
Browsed trough my bills, tomorrow i get to enjoy paying them. :woot:
Went to my parents house for a Sunday meal.
Visited a friend and his family.
Chatted with two girls online, dont know what i want so i will keep contact with both.
Watched a leftist documentary about a historical Finnish patriot that was portrayed as a facist and compared to Osama bin Laden. Sometimes i wonder why i have to pay for what Finnish broadcasting company airs.
Now im having trouble attaching a file to my email to play a PBEM game, getting frustrated.:nope:

-Woke up at 1:30. surprisingly not hung over.

-had to answer my pseudo girlfriends text because she wants me to drive an hour to come to a "6 hour party" (which i doubt will got that long) and then drive back another hour. Basically I don't think i'm gonna go. It's to early to set that president. Besides Id have to meet all her friends and family all at once

-ate lunch and watched the lions have a promising series and then blow it.

-got on the pc.

Platapus 10-31-10 07:42 PM

Volunteered at my animal rescue foundation. I conducted four adoption interviews, adopted out one of our fosters and showcased the other three (9 week old Chocolate Lab/German Shepherd Dog mixes) . We got apps on all three so they should be going home next Sunday.

One thing I wanted to do but didn't was work on my Lit Review for my Dissertation. :damn::damn::damn:

Went to work and did a veeery slow and quiet shift. Looks to be the same tomorrow so expected them to ring today and say "Don't come in" but they haven't so looks like another slow one tomorrow.
Still, it's reddies in the bank. :yeah:

Aye, it's barely enough but more than on the dole. :yep:

EDIT: NOW they ring me to tell me that I'm not needed. :damn: The rest of the week isn't looking to promising either. The perils of working in the tourist trade on the coast, not many people on the beaches come winter time. :nope: Except perhaps in Skegness... :hmmm:

Still, the other half wants to go to Ipswich tomorrow, so I might take my camera and see what's moving up at the station, and then we'll see what comes. Keep an eye open for vacancies around but this time of year it's like looking for leaves on deciduous trees... :damn:
