shure, a clean vanilla installation is always a good base... but dont expect to have much left from vanilla then :D

I use Sh3 with latest patch + GWX 3.0 Gold
With JSGME I activated (in this order):

1) 16 km atmosphere
2) enhanched damage effect
3) widescreen gwx 3.0
4) gwx VIIC41 player sub

But if I activate WSM 3.0 mod + Gel,II or III, I must deactivate:
- widescreen mod
- enhanched damage mod
(they seem to conflict when I use them with JSGME).

Good luck with your work!:salute:

This "Enhanced Damage Effect" mod... where can I find that?

Which I'm not going to spend eight hours downloading... is there a way to get a separate release of it?

ohh, i dont liked the pop pause pop pause pop pause.... poping smoke like it is maybe realistic for small 1 cylinder fishing boats, so i modified it to be more connected, longer, different for 9 typs of ship engines.

Schwieger 10-01-10 06:28 PM

ahh, that makes sense

Do you plan on releasing it as a mod?

it will be part of our csp mod edition, the different smokes are also partly included in a special particles dat file, they have to be connected in the right way to the ships, but on demand (for ppl who are familar with connecting different smokes type`s to different ships, useable then in different super mods), i have no problem releasing it as single dat files.

Stormfly, did you ever release your "damage screen" mod?? ( I think it reeeeally looks amazing, btw!)

Lately, I've been playing quite a bit of C-47's "warship" mod, and I was hoping that maybe some talented modder out there, could somehow implement a fully functional/playable damage screen for it one day.
Low and behold...I see you have been trying to do just that, for over a year now! :yeah:

Is this still a work in progress?? OR, was the mod canned, and you have no plans on ever releasing?!
