Seriously though?

There are many AW sites that are perfectly legit, but majority of them tend to offer all kinds of old games regardless if the copyright has expired.

Abandonware is not the same as freeware. Not untill the copyright expires, anyway.

When I was a teenager it was the '60s and long hair was just becoming the big thing. I wanted to grow my hair out, and my dad said "No". When I wanted to argue, he gave me a list of reasons. When I wanted to argue with those, he went for the bottom line: "My house, my rules".

When this Abandonware discussion comes up, I usually waste a lot of time and energy trying to explain Subsim's standing and reputation in the gaming industry, and trying to make the questioner understand what and why. But the bottom line is:

Gazzillionth? Really? They've been down a gazzillion times?

Funny.. I must have the only non-DRM copy in existance because I have only had a problem three times, and two of them were in the first two weeks after release.

Wow! A gazzillion is a lot, right?
