I don't think many of us have a problem with Israel existing but we question the tactics that Israel is deploying because if anybody else used those same tactics they'd get slapped with war crimes. Starving off Palestinians with blockades and "occupying" their land is absolute extremism. Just imagine the hell that would be unleashed if North Korea decided to "occupy" South Korea and tried to re-claim South Korean land as their own. That wouldn't bode over too well with the US and Japan it would amount to a declaration of war. Kim Jong Il would be brought up on war crimes if he did something like that.
Furthermore, Jews had left the area that is now Israel, thousands of years ago, and migrated over to European areas like Poland and Germany. After WWII they boarded ships and went back to "reclaim" Israel. But that's about on par with leaving your parking spot at Walmart and coming back later to be disappointed somebody else took your previous spot.
How would American's feel if millions of Mexicans boarded ships and crossed the gulf over to Flordia to reclaim that state as their own because the Spanish founded it hundreds of years ago? Oh wait a minute, we're already beginning to see this, although the illegals are simply walking across the border into Arizona and going wherever the hell they want and claiming it as Mexican land. They even fly the Mexican flag over the American one they turn upside down! :stare:
It's not racism to question Israeli existence as nobody is declaring their race as being greater than any other. It's nationalism because people are declaring who technically has claim to the land there. Of course racist antics are being flung around between both sides because both sides are too pigheaded and stubborn to negotiate peacefully. I'm sorry Israel, but you seem to show up to peace negotiations with blatant threats and that's the wrong way to go about it. Learn to play nice and maybe niceness can happen!
