They seem quite sincere in their desire to deliver a proper Deus Ex. :yep:

25 minutes of Deus Ex. It's older footage, but it shows the Hive. |

Pre-ordered, even if its slighly like the first game thats good enough for me :)

Urgh, I really don't like "live action" videogame trailers (I assume you guys have seen the one I'm talking about). Not sure why. But the game still looks like it might be good.
|
I hope it is better than that trailer. I could only last about 5 minutes.
I got burned on DE2 so I think I will wait for some more reviews to come out. Hope it is as good as the first one. |
The E3 trailer is out. Looks pretty awesome. I'll probably be suckered into preordering it. :shucks:

10 hours of the game have been leaked unto the internet. Apparently square enix and eidios are encouraning those who have played the leak to share any positivie reviews of it online. Which begs the question of whether or not this leak was accidental. Either way fans are going crazy for it, and the torrent is out there. Im not actually sure where discussing the torrent fits in subsim rules though, on one hand square and edios want people to try it(why not just release a demo?) on the other it's shareware.

Hell the Detroit area you are allowed to explore after the first mission of the game is reminiscent of the Hong Kong area from DE1. There are doors and apartments to enter that have nothing to do with the story, other than being a room to enter. There is one part where you have to disable a device in gang territory, there are 3 whole paths to choose from to get from point A to point B, and 2-3 methods of taking each path. I didn't even realize two of the paths were there until I stumbled upon them by accident. A lot of the people who've tried the 10 hour preview demo have come away with good impressions. My only complaint with the game is that the combat is rather hard(which isn't necessarily a bad thing) and that there is a forced boss battle(which I died on 5-6 times before finally being able to beat. Hopefully Eidos releases a demo that shows off the Detroit area, along with the warehouse area shortly afterwords as this part of the game is what will get the most positive reviews. |
