:hmmm: Thank you SteelViking. Maybe a list with filenames and paths in a textfile? Gruß. Echolot. |

Edit: Actually, I have an even easier idea for how you can find them. Unload all mods, then go through the mods themselves opening up any file with extension .dds with GIMP, Photoshop, or something similar, and simply "save as" and tell it to not put a compression on them. After that, reload your mods. Most of the culprits are modified by environmental mods, explosion mods, and smoke mods. So if you do this to those mods, you will get the benefit. Again, sorry I cannot just do this for you but my hands are tied. |

Thank you, SteelViking. I will look into the files. Can I use Paint.Net? I use it for my dds and tga editing and works great. Maybe you are interested in a movie background for your menu. "Das Boot" style. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...77&postcount=5 Gruß. Echolot. |
I am not 100% sure, but I think that paint.net will work just fine to do this.

My newest issue with the 10.5 drivers. After playing in multiplayer for maybe one hour the game is very slow. I notice the frequency values in CCC was not 800/1100. It's the desktop setting not the 3D setting. ??????? Anyone with problems like this? CPU 13%, memory 39%. http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/6...benannt2nz.jpg Gruß. Echolot. I plan to reinstall windows in the next week so I can try the craziest tips. :|\\ The mission (not realistic, wip): http://www.filefront.com/16649959/MP04.zip/ . |
If I play SH5 in window mode the frequencies was 800/1100 but when I open the Windows Media Center to watch TV the values going down to 400/900 and the game is slow. :damn: Today I hate M$, AMD, UBI and SH5.
Maybe next SH supports opengl and runs under linux. Earlier i had an install of SHIII in a virtual machine under OSX (as host) but this was very slow  The new versions of virtualbox supports dx9.0c like SH5. Greez. Echolot. |
Solved. Problem is (was) ;) the Windows Media Center  I used for DVB-T.
I can go back to 10.5 now. |
