I personally have never had a problem with having to have the disk in the drive to run any game. And I'd just as soon go back to it over all this anti-piracy stuff that has come about.

The disk only wieghs a tiny few grams, so I think my hand and arm can handle that, and all my disks both game and music, and movies are all in the same shape they were when purchased.
I treat them as they should be, no throwing, dropping, keep it in it's case when not used, and handle it by it's edges.

I've never quite understood the problem a lot of folks have with putting a disk in a drive. As if it was just too much trouble or something.

The problems I've always had with disc in drive are:

1) the horrible noise and delay of the drive spinning up every time to run a game that was entirely on my hard drive.
2) the artificial wear and tear on my hardware from having to spin up constantly for a game that was entirely on my hard drive.
3) the fact that at the time seemingly EVERY game required the disc in the drive meaning I was constantly swapping, or forgetting to swap and having to wait for it to realize this, each time I wanted to play a game that was entirely on my hard drive.
4) rootkits and other stupid crap from publishers to make sure they could screw you at any point for a game that was entirely on my hard drive.

If I remember correctly, SH3 only read the disk once. Lets face it, a dvd in the drive is no big deal.

Having to be online is an even lesser deal. *shrug*

I seriously beg to differ (so do the other thousands of people who can't play because of their connection). :haha:

Unless you can't get online. Then it's a huge deal.:sunny:
