I would like to add the missing renown.
I have done 8 patrols and always brought my sub back
to base manually. How much renown should I add to my
current without cheating ?

200 per return docking.

Thanks for the info though,it could prove more relevant with major game changes and not so much with small changes such as in my case.I have also just installed Racerboy's SH4 effects to my game and this was done (while still in the base screen) BEFORE I left port for patrol 2 :yep:

Nah, mods to SH3 don't really matter as far as lost renown. It's the in-game sub additions that we were talking about that you use renown points to buy.

The only rule about installing SH3 mods is to install them when you're at port and not during a patrol. Due to possible conflicts within the saved game.

ok,thanks for that.

That's 1600. Added to my 1000, it's 2600
Gave me enough to get the VIIB for the 9th patrol !

I gave up command of U-22 to take command of U-99
Sailing to AN18 for U-99 first patrol (the boat is brand
new, first command since she is commissioned) and
we just learned from BdU U-22 is lost at sea on her
first patrol without me...

They will pay for this.

Done it twice... got to be a bug.

Are you sure? Never heard that before...I had a bug twice when returning my career first patrol results weren't registered by the game and this is known bug (they did registered after i reloaded saved game and did re-dock) but now i have been manually docked several times, right in the pen just where i started, and got no any penalty.

Maybe you got some other bug? Maybe this same one that i had twice?

I thought that the docking was the reason, because it happened the two times out of two I did it. If it works for you, I guess I'm wrong.
