I'm getting a conflict (CTD at the museum) using your ships with "St Naz and Schluese and other units" mod. I guess it's the texture and library files, but I am not sure.
Any ideas? |
I've also been suffering CTDs but only with some of the ships.
St Naz and Schleuse works fine with both Lib and Tex 2010 enabled and with USS Omaha, Saratoga and Enterprise included in the campaign files so I'm not sure it's a texture file problem. I think it might be an ID conflict with some of the ships. I've been working on a new project that I'm close to finishing then I'll be checking out these great ships and seeing which I can use and which I can't. |

Recently I used the /3GB boot.ini switch and the 4GB exe patch. Which helped get rid of most of these CTDs. Now I have about 30 Yamatoforever ships (the ones that never worked before) running perfectly, no problems at all in the museum and in campaign so far. So I propose that only people with 4GB RAM or 64bit OS run that much new ships, some might get away with running a few of these ships maybe. So, this has been my experience with new ships, the CTDs weren't texture or ID collision, they were the SH3 game engine blowing up! Although there is one ship that seems to have an ID/text problem, it will CTD in both museum and campaign. I'll have to recheck which one it was :hmmm: |
Just to clarify something here.
When I am using yamato's ships (all of them) alone I suffer no CTDs. When I use BBW's St Nazaire and WBs ships I suffer no CTDs When I combine Yammato's ships and St Nazaire/WB's ships I suffer CTDs. I hope this makes it a bit clearer |

WIP Ilyushin Il-2 @The Gangut-Class from TheArmChairGeneral [PacificStorm]: Project is abandoned!!! Same model in TBOTB-Mod is to be converted. |
Very nice Yamatoforever
Looking forward to the release of the Baltic units esp Dagon and Vaa have produced some great work in the past and Baltic specific units are sorely missing from the game Thanx for all your work in conversion @ those suffering CTDs with the St Naz mod and some of the ships posted here Remember the additional ships in the St Naz mod - by AOTD_MadMaxU48 - are also SH4 converts remodelled so there may be an ID clash between those and Yamatos merchants Warships shouldnt be a problem though |
Futher to my last post I've now got the following working simultaneously in the campaign:
USS Enterprise USS New Mexico USS North Carolina USS Omaha USS Saratoga USS West Point I've been unable to get HMS Kent to work alongside the six above (CTDs) but I've no idea why. |
