The lack of crew on deck is not a bug. They were eaten.

It's a preview screen shot! The production version will have it!

And groundhog Rex doesn't see his shadow - so 6 more weeks of winter for you!

We managed to play a preview copy of SH5, but it was apparent that it was not near completion. In one mission I managed to actually hit my target with the nose of my sub, and when I fired my torpedo, unbelievably it went around its target and completed its straight course. I’m not quite sure about the outcome of such situation in real life, but at least the torpedo should detonate on impact, deviate, but not make a full turn around the ship’s hull! Another annoying thing is the need to be hooked to internet to play SH5. The preview copy would freeze if the internet connection was lost, and to launch the game, I had to logon to Ubisoft services first!
So it's not just "Waiting for connection" pop-up on your screen, you have to actually LOGIN by typing in your username and password every time it happens.

*sigh* I expected this, but I was somewhat, just somewhat hoping that they'd at least make the server as stable as WoW or something (never played WoW, just assuming).

One other thing. The T-Rex looks like he is screaming "Fffffuuuu...!"

we are seeing bits and pieces of stuf from the past as well as the latest stuff so we really dont know if what we are seeing is real at this point.

i think we have to wait for "real" screenshots from the game to start picking out the flaws, otherwise its not accurate or fair to judge.

Careful there, Webster, you're using common sense and logic again and you know that can only lead to trouble... ;)

Feb 11th, just 3 weeks away from release, and:

i thought i just saw a dynamic shadow within the dynamic shadow
with dynamic lighting and dynamic crew feelings

btw no preview has yet revealed how detailed the realism option will be

There's no telling how old the version they previewed was. There's still a chance for hope.

So no one noticed this?

Ubisoft has also announced the Collector’s Edition of SH5, coming in an iron box that contains the game, the manual, the map of the Battle of the Atlantic, the official guide, the original soundtrack, and finally 7 unique submarines. No price has been announced yet for this shiny box, however be prepared to hurt your wallet.
Whats that about? :hmmm:

I think that was discussed somewhere and it was determined to be skins for the VII. Not as exciting as it sounds.

He's just emerged from below to vent his frustration after realizing that, due to the size and placement of his teeny tiny arms, he can't get one eye up to the periscope AND operate the controls at the same time.

Yeah... I've never understood what's the fuss about it. Have a few skins come as a bonus like "OMG, such exclusive stuff, it's worth 20 more bucks!!!!", a pretty lame commercial move. The printed stuff sounds like a nice added value though.
