EDIT: And got one posting this one too, that's 2 in a row. HA!

Ok, fair enough. Now next test, look down at the bottom of the forum page, left side. There's a style dropdown. Switch the Ferret style and do some posting in your test thread. Not just edits, either. New posts and some edits. And not too fast, give it a few second or a minute between posts, ok? We will figure this out.

Anyone else getting this message?

The error is not on your part sir.......Why did someone not inform you that my threads were "marked as targets" to help track the users? It has been common knowledge to those on the "in."

Only been here since November and posted my butt off constructively while trying to attain the rank of "Admiral." I won't live long enough.

Woodchuck Dowly with over 12,300 posts has only attained the rank of a "VARMIT".........I conceed and declare that "the ferret" owes Mr. Stevens a whole lot of money to compensate his or her bandwidth usage........

Hmm... this is really curious. I cannot imagine wth is going on, but in vBulletin, they strongly suggested that it would be some changes made to the non-stock templates. They say to make a default style and give it a name which I did, naming it Ferret style. With that style, there should not be any token issues...yet you say you got one? :hmmm:

...and no one else is getting this, or they are not mentioning it. Dalissa said he has seen it a couple times...anyone else?

Back to the drawing board...

I'm starting to lean towards FF3.6 messing something. Still havent gotten the error with IE. And like I've said before a few times, it's no biggie. I can live with that. Think of it as a punishment for all the times I've been naughty here. :haha:

EDIT: Gah! Got it again! It's getting worse! :wah:

Ships-R-Us 02-08-10 01:47 AM

Dowly, Truly a great study.........thanks for devoting your time toward significant constructive means.

Dowly 02-08-10 01:54 AM

Right, tell you what Neal. I'll revert back to earlier version of FF and see if I still got the errors. (I started to get the errors hour or so after I updated my FF :hmmm:)

Dowly 02-08-10 02:18 AM

Neal, take a look at this. It would seem this is indeed a problem with FF3.6. :hmmm:

(Havent had the error now that I'm using FF 3.52)

Onkel Neal 02-08-10 02:37 AM

Wow, thanks man, you saved me a ton of work and made my fondest wish come true: I can blame it on FFF! :fff:

Kidding, thanks for finding, I am checking with vB to see if there is anything I can do, cuz I know FFF is very popular and I wanna make this work :salute:

Dowly 02-08-10 02:42 AM

Nooooo worries. Happy to help. :salute:

The Enigma 02-08-10 03:17 PM

Since I'm using ff 3.6 too, I may experience the same problem?? :o
So far no such problem encountered.
