I am shocked and appalled that you people are taking this serious issue so lightly!

It's the uniforms, man! they need to be clean and pressed when leaving port, and get more ragged and filled with soup stains as time goes on, and then out come the good ones when returning to port!

And if I don't get a fully functioning head I'm gonna plotz!

In the original trailer he (you) looks in a mirror at his beard. In the game? Who knows?

Hmm. Commander in trailer appears to be suitably scruffy. However, jarring effect of him narrating in English almost ruins effect.

In conclusion:
"Tiefer, LI!" = dead sexy scruffy commander
"Deeper, dammit!" = eh, not so much

There was a German version out there.:sunny:

WANT!

Where would it be, does Ubi have a German site?

Oh maybe I should just search google.de, there's a thought. BRB.

Oh yeah that's much more better.

I looked all over here until I found the correct old thread, and the correct old link, only to find that they've now replaced it at UBI with the new English one.

I'm so glad you found it. And so easily too - it's right there at the top! It was good to hear it again.

Yes, it was nice to hear it for the first time too!

Maybe it's because I only came to this genre through the "Das Boot" influence, but to see a bunch of guys in a u-boat and they're all speaking English... doesn't work for me.

The only time I want to hear it is when the commander is looking upward at his unseen opponent and saying "Not yet!"
