According to news here in Finland, an russian frigate is following a ship near Gibraltar that "looks similar" to Arctic Sea.

Could well be carrying a military cargo.....or drugs :hmmm:

Dowly 08-13-09 12:01 PM

Military cargo from where? It was loaded with ****loads of timber in Helsinki and do you honestly think that anyone would be interested in our sticks and stones our military uses. :O:

The first reports had police in uniforms boarding the ship before she got to the English channel ... reports of the crew bing beat up spells for what reason?

Something hidden onboard for sure ...

Don't you guys watch movies, obviously someone had a gun on someone when they reported all of this and acted like the bad guys left ...

We may never know ... dead men tell no lies.

IS that a movie title yet?

Dowly is hiding something!
What ever was on that ship, Dowly is undoubtedly involved in it.

Some guys get given a wooden horse; have a few laughs with it; the end.

What are we supposed to learn from that?!

Jimbuna 08-13-09 02:16 PM

Look underneath the timber and all will be revealed.

The editor of Russian maritime bulletin Sovfrakht has told local media he has learnt from a Defence Ministry source that a frigate has been following a ship similar to the Arctic Sea in the Atlantic Ocean near Gibraltar.

But according to the ITAR TASS news agency, the Russian navy has denied the report, saying its ships are continuing to search for the Arctic Sea.
Shouldn't they be looking for a ship named Arctic Sea in the Arctic :rotfl:

More rumours circulating. US coast guard's information officer said when asked where the ship is that it's location is classified information. :hmmm:

I got the impression that if they would know where it is, it would be classified information. Which he propably said because, it wouldnt be in his hands to tell about the location (i.e. it would go thru the higher ups and then released).

Could be, I didn't see the interview on telly, relying on what's on the internet about this.
