Sorry to hear that .
My dog (English Springer Spaniel) passed away three years ago and it was very hard for me. He was very fit, even in the age of 13 but then he got suddenly ill (kidney problems) and passed away a few weeks later. |
Thank you all for your kind words.
Someone earlier mentioned her name "Screech" no she was not named after a TV charecter. She got that name when we 'found' her she had been calling for her Mommy for so long and so hard she was hoarse and the only sound she could make was a tiney little screech. She had been orphaned and was so small would fit in the palm of your hand. |
Hang in there. The loss of a pet can be very upsetting, but the memories will always live on.

Im a bit late, but nonetheless i want to offer my condolences. Losing a pet companion of many years is always a hard thing. However, what matters is not the ending, as all things eventually end, but rather the time in between.
And i've only ever personally heard of a cat that a friend of mine had growing nearly this old. He, Felix, lived to the age of 21 years and died naturally, of old age, in spite of many diseases he had wich did not seem to bother him as much as they did the vets! |
Sucks =( Losing a pet is terrible, they are truly as much a part of human kind as humans are.

She was truly a member of the family and one of our 'children'.
I'm supprised that no one noticed that this happend on my birthday, the timing was uncanny. Ill think of her every birthday I manage to survive for the rest of my life. |
