CLUELESS

I reckon add to that Lazy and Apathetic, and you're developing a great picture of most of the western world's voters

Or the lady was an idiot? Are you saying that Republicans have never done that either?

:har:

I love the theme among the fringe around here of "Obama got elected because the voters are all stupid".

How do we account for 8 years of Bush? Did all the intelligent voters die in his 2nd term?

Laughable, at best. Sad, at worst....:yep:

Oh, thats easy, Enigma...
Bush didn't get elected. :rotfl:

Don't you remember all that hanging chad and disenfranchise a few hundred thousand likely Democrat voters stuff?

Rigged, stole, cheated are some words that spring to mind, but elected?

Enigma and Market - you know - before you jump off your own deep end and "repeat" comments that were never made - you really should read what is written vs what you WANT or EXPECT to read.

I specifically said:

"that describes the "average" voter today (of any political stripe)....."

Of any political stripe would not be pointing at democrats specifically, nor would it be giving republicans some magic pass (and for the record - their candidate wasn't all that great either).

The fact that you both would post infering that somehow republicans were not also included - not only ignores what was posted, but it in some ways placed yourselves into the same category as the average voter - appearing CLUELESS - because you didn't even pay enough attention to read it through, and instead felt OBLIGATED to be offended or otherwise "wronged".

Thank you for proving the point, even if your intent was different.

I do not mean this ugly, but you have to accept that you need to pay more attention to what is stated, and not jump off a bridge without looking first. Well ok you dont HAVE to - but when you don't pay attention - you are likely to get the results pointed out to you rather harshly.

You mean the ones recounted repeatedly after the election by GoP hostile news organizations that all confirmed Bush's win?

But speaking of remembering I also remember the Democratic parties attempts to invalidate millions of military member absentee ballots both in Florida and in the rest of the nation because they tend to vote republican. I remember the Dems launching lawsuits to get Ralph Nadars name off the ballot in nearly every state. I remember their demands for repeated recounts in Florida but only in the counties they dominated, while simultaniously trying to prevent recounts everywhere else.

Yeah I remember the 2000 Florida election but to me the right person prevailed.

No not 'stupid', clueless was a better descriptor, un-informed, enamored, charmed, duped, are a few others. Of course there is a large majority hoping for change, problem is they dident even know what the change might represent.

But that's exactly what the left said when Bush was elected. Both times. I'm not an Obama fan, but then I wasn't a Bush fan either. In both cases it sounds like sour grapes to me.

Well the main difference is Steve is that even now there are some of the Obama supporters who at the time said 'Hey maybe he is okay' or 'Lets give him a chance' are now saying 'Oh my god I did not realize what a liberal he really is' or 'Oh my goodness he is not the man I was lead to believe he was'.
