My point is, even under adult supervision, it is not best in my opinion letting kids fire weapons. Appropriate age to me is 13+ when a child understands how a weapons work. However, there was a case last week were kid at the age of 13 killed his father and his friend because was mad over something like not being able to watch TV. 22 rifle. POP POP, pop hits the floor. If there is an age for alcohol, driving, voting, there should be a age limit for the use of guns.

I first learned to use firearms around 10-11 myself. I think a lot of it depends on the particular child, and the particular adult. After all there are 40 somethings that i wouldn't trust with a gun, but properly supervised and with a suitable firearm I don't see the problem with young children handling firearms. especially like the one in the OP's video. There is zero chance that child would injure herself shooting a tripod mounted MG like that.

To me zero chance is still crappy odds for a young kid. It is just my thoughts on the matter. As some have stated, it is also the particular type of weapon. Perhaps it should be ran like the Japanese do with motorcycles. You start out on scooters and work your way up to super bike licenses. Handing a kid a fully auto even under supervision is not a great idea. Learn on a single shot until full understanding of the power you have in your hands is realised. Keep the things locked up when not in use.

Kids are expendable! You can always make more....:D The best machine gun shoots this side of the fence is in Sparks. The range with pun intended is called the Mustang Range and is the most awesome experience. Kids are not allowed to shoot firearms there.

Sorry, seems like I passed out early last night. Anywho, the man in the avatar & sig is James Root, the lead guitarist of Slipknot. Now, does it REALLY matter if I have James Root, a Teletubby or a ******* Hankey the Christmaspoo in my signature? :p

Except for the "never change his opinion" part you are kind of right my Danish friend. One should always know who they are talking to, or else how can you tell where they are coming from?

Now forgive me but a person who identifies himself with a hollywood bad guy, or a domination mask wearing rock guitarist for that matter, doesn't exactly inspire much confidence in their opinion regarding which of our American fascinations are "sick".

Rrrrright, I actually spoke to an invidual of this, I think last night. I hate ppl who judge the other by the looks. I for example, wear a leather jacket, usually black pants and steel toed "grandma kicking" boots. Why? Because I feel comfortable in them, not because I'm some Satan worshipping twit. And my avatar & sig reflects to my music taste, not me.

If you'd have said "I've seen Dowly posting before, I know what kind of twat he is", that'd be ok, but judging me by the avatar I wear is just typical you.

Never saw it, i'm not a Johnny Depp fan. Hero worship of entertainers is so,... "teenagerish" don't you think?

FWIW my avatar is a picture of me, although longer ago than i'd like to remember. Probably when you were wearing "grandma kicker" baby shoes...
