Thank You. But I still don't know where I must buckle up this controler. I think about Dat File for XXI and "Water_Particles_over" nodes, but I'm not sure. Maybe I be able to understand everything if I can see Your file or part of it in S3D. I know rules.
I never using someone else work as my work. I only check some files for knowledge.
I write then who helped me, teached me in a readme file or instruction. Also I informed which file I used if I used a part of file.:yep: Many things I learned [maybe not so great things] by myself but now I don't have a time and power at this moment for 1, 2 month checking.:yep: I'm a little tired man right now. If you can help me good. If You can't, also good. I understand this. Decision belongs to You.:salute:

Well, however you figure this out, mists and sprays and streams all together would really add a lot. Looking forward to it :yeah:

Yes. Little mist will be great, but I don't have a time only for modding now. It's simple. Second thing. If I decide to work on this I must be sure about some things.
I don't know if more efects not be bad for FPS.:hmmm: Also is this mist looking natural?
Can I see some pictures. If I must do it by myself I must know this because this is a lot work for me and means checking everything. Mist maybe is ok, but I'm happy right now. :yep: I can upload water describe in post 22. But if You guys like have mist effect, You must wait or take water from other boats and do it by yourself. For me mist is not so important right now, and I don't write this only because I don't know how to do it.:yep:
If Racerboy can help me then I think I can do this faster.:arrgh!:

evan82 02-14-09 08:59 AM

Yes. I think I know this a little now. I gived controller to water node and looks like it works. Problem is to set the correct settings. For example: Wind 1, 2 etc... . Now I must set correct values:dead:. Maybe I do something wrong?:hmmm:

TheDarkWraith 02-14-09 11:06 AM

have a look here:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...=water+streams

check through all the pages to see what I was doing with it. I even included a downloadable example IIRC. This will show you what adding this controller can do. Once you understand how the controller works then you can make the cool and interesting effects or use it in ways it wasn't supposed to be used.

If I were you I would stay away from playing with the LocalWind and GlobalWind. LocalWind will force a local wind effect at all times based on the XYZ values you give. GlobalWind, well, I've found that it behaves exactly like LocalWind except in some situations (like my exhaust smoke). I haven't figured out what makes GlobalWind behave differently from LocalWind yet. Unless you're looking for a constant wind effect then I wouldn't use these at all.

Thanks Racerboy for this link. I seen some time ago this thread, but now I look at this different. I understand very well idea of this, belive me. Problem is to set speed controller correct. Maybe I understand more things by the analyze U-Boat II BETA file:salute:. But now I can't promise my success. If something intrersing I be able do with water for XXI, then I will do this, but if changes will be worse, then I upload actual work.:yep: I don't like working fast, because then I can see my work always with fresh point of view.:D

can you upload this to here http://www.bts-mods.com/

Their dowload speeds are increadible and it looks to be easy to setup a modder account to post your work.

I love the xxi. Sweet to move around silently at 6 knots!!!! fells like being in a jet plane after prop.

Hi Guys. Does anybody know where is Diving Duck? I have not bad XXI interior with some nice textures, open hatch, and more realistic cameras. I can't upload it beacause I need Diving Duck permission . I used some stuff from His open hatch for XXI, but I also fitted my changes into XXI interior. I think it is interesting, but I can't upload without DD permission.:-?

evan82 04-07-09 04:27 PM

Everyone can do some simple, but interesting things with SHIII if know S3D a little. Today I changed some colors in my XXI interior. Some green tubes looks good:up:.

Did I not tell you that working on the XXI Water Streams might lead to a larger work for creating a full mod for the XXI? :03:

I'm very glad to see you did not stop at water streams, evan82!

Those screen shots show great promise indeed, dear sir!
I am greatly looking forward to what will be. :yeah:

Maybe you can can call it the "XXI Elektro-boot" mod.

I thought DivingDuck gave permission to use his Open Hatch mod so long as you make mention of him and his mod in the text file about your mod? You might read his own text file that comes with the Open Hatch mod to make sure.

In the future I will upload final version of the XXI Water Stream. I noticed some ID's bugs in the old one. Also there is more water in new version [106 "water" nodes in old version/166 "water" nodes in the new one] especially on the bow sector, and conning sector of the hull.
First I fixed this for myself, but now I think about the upolad this stuff here.:hmmm:

Old version is not longer available!

Regards!
