Yeah, he showed real class, I thought it was very well done as well.

Yes, I must give MacCain credit well-deserved for his attitude and that speech. If only he would have kept that attitude during campaigning, and have made his capmaign campt to obey that as well, the race would have been a bit tighter.

As often before, Obama showed that he is a very great deliverer of speeches. Now comes his time of delivering the deeds. We will see.

To say he has a difficult road ahead of him is a great understatement, but if he can govern like he campaigned he should do ok, maybe not right away, but over time.

Hope springs eternal.

Espically when the rated 'most liberal senator' in congress has been elected.

I wouldent worry so much except for the fact that he will be backed by a democrat majority congress along with the limp spined republicans that will be afraid to stand on their principals.

There will no longer be a check and balance. Socialisim is comming and it will be very hard to stop.

You have an interesting if not strange standard for "worst moment ever" in your nations history. :-? However you are fully entitled to voice your opinion. :yep:

From recent memory I would have thought that the 9/11 terrorist attacks on American soil were worse than Senator Obama being elected.

Or from an American societal level and given that an African American has been chosen as the next President, what about the Dred Scott Decision of 1857 by the US Supreme Court? The Supreme Court declared no slave or descendant of a slave could be a U.S. citizen, or ever had been a U.S. citizen. In effect blacks were nothing but possessions.

I'd rate both of the above mentioned examples as far worse than Senator Obama being elected as the next President of the United States of America. That's my two cents.

Obama is half white. His Father I do not believe had slaves in his his lineage. The civil war ended Dread Scott...

Given that Obama by all european standarts would be considered "extreme right", I doubt you'll see much socialism worthy of that term.

Northern European standards, perhaps.
There are a good few parts of Southern Europe who have not progressed to the
left so quickly.

Murtha needs to retire. This is why we need term limits.
