I suggest you make your new friend used to the idea of meeting other people, so that it won't be too attached to you, and confront other humans as enemies. We don't want that.;)

:rotfl:

We bought a scratching post for our cats but they flatly refuse to use it and prefer to sharpen their claws on anything else such as furniture, wallpaper, my clothes...still, you've got to love them though.

And just because the animal is a cat doesn't mean you don't train them like dogs. Cats are just as intelligent, albeit more difficult to train, as dogs are. Especially train the cat to NOT sit under cars in the driveway and the cat will figure out the rest of road safety from there.

Yup, very true! Cats are both very trainable and very loyal, it's just that it's not an instant thing with them.

She's looking very good. Here's to a long friendship with you and her :)

Alot of people have things abit confused about us Californians.

About it being the land of Fruits & Nuts.

I'll clear up this confusion.

The Fruits are in Northern Calif.

The Nuts are in Southern Calif.

These Nuts are usually well armed and will shoot anyone that shoots their pets. And... without a second thought. :yep:

If a neighbors pet is causeing you trouble let the neighbor know or use the squirt gun ( diluted amonia ) or ball method.

The life you save just might be your own. :yep:

What is all this talk of shooting cats?

We have a few cats around the house and a few dogs.

Their all good animals.

My personal cat: Pirate Kittheh has this whitish face surrounded by black on the top and the area around one of his eyes is black fur, really makes him look like a pirate.

Friendly as hell, comes when he's called an everything, need to get him neutered though since he got his sister (mouse kitteh who looks strangly like a mouse) pregnant.

Mouse kitteh's kittens are cute as hell though, chubby lil bastards who keep stealing my blanket (I sleep on the floor)

Cats are nice because they can sit on your lap and don't seem to get tired of you, they also kill mice.

Dogs are nice because their big and cuddly and helpful, our dogs here are good herd dogs.
They will also protect you. Our old rotwhiler if he knoticed you were in danger would put himself between you and your enemy.

and finally she thinks she owns the house
