I hope not, not any time soon at least - Way too much difficulty in implementing it even if it were necessary.

For example - how do you merge prices in Zimbabwe and prices in Europe?

Yep. There isn't any value behind the dollar now. Tis but a promisary note. Last year it took 21.60 to purchase what 1.00 dollar puchased in 1913. The year the Federal Reserve became enacted. But that dollar was backed by silver. I was just reading an article, that the U.S. Mint has suspended sales of the 50 dollar Buffalo gold piece, due to the demands with many investors buying them faster than they could make them.
