Don't even joke... now anything else will just be a let down for me. :nope:

Ain't that the truth. However, anything from sonalysts would fit my appetite right about now.

Of course other "cartels" may wish to stop you and send out patrol craft looking like fishing vessels and of course for 100% reality only manual navigation no GPS......

I would go with that but I'm hoping for Silent Hunter V: The New Era as you command the post WWII diesel boats and later on the early nuclear subs

Awesome! :know:

Classic Bort!

I think they caught one of the developers on video back in August:

OK, my guess is....

Silent Service 3.

And why not? Some of the old MPS guys, like Sid Meier, Arnold Hendrick, and Bill Stealy are still around. If SH3 and SH4 have done well, Silent Service would be a slam dunk money maker based on rep and nostalgic factors alone.

Anyway, it would seem to fit Neal's choice of words... "a well-known subsim action game" and "veteran dev team... returning"

And who knows... maybe they could recapture some of the old magic?

'Action Subsim' hmm... Silent Service 3?

XLjedi 09-06-07 09:57 AM

So what exactly would qualify as a Subsim Action Game anyway?

hahaha! Crank for your life, Mister!

hrm... a "well-known subsim action game" Cripes it wouldn't be something waaaay out in left field like Subwar 2050?? No... that wouldn't meet the "well-known" criteria, methinks. :hmm:
