I think they caught one of the developers on video back in August: http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/20...-in-hot-water/ Cheers! :arrgh!: |
OK, my guess is....
Silent Service 3.
And why not? Some of the old MPS guys, like Sid Meier, Arnold Hendrick, and Bill Stealy are still around. If SH3 and SH4 have done well, Silent Service would be a slam dunk money maker based on rep and nostalgic factors alone. Anyway, it would seem to fit Neal's choice of words... "a well-known subsim action game" and "veteran dev team... returning" And who knows... maybe they could recapture some of the old magic? JD |
VIKING RAFTERS 2?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!
Features include: Double-action rowing now with 3D stereo sound! Whippings and lashings now come complete with smellovision! Funeral pyres now glow with Direct X 10 color and particle emmulation! Regulate fish rations while on board. Bonus mission to evacuate your campsite on Iceland before the lava consumes 3 of your 6 wives! |
'Action Subsim' hmm... Silent Service 3?
|
So what exactly would qualify as a Subsim Action Game anyway?

Well whatever it is, lets let it go through a proper development phase...M'kay?

hrm... a "well-known subsim action game" Cripes it wouldn't be something waaaay out in left field like Subwar 2050?? No... that wouldn't meet the "well-known" criteria, methinks. :hmm: |
The Sims: CSS Hunley
 |
Too early for SH5 if you ask me.
|
Mr Stevens...
Could you please give us a rough timeline for when you will be able to spill the juicy gossip please? You know, 1 week, 1 month.... 1 HOUR!!! ;) Elphaba |
