Both articles stress that such alliances are rare, but time and again take place. We had seen it during the football WM ("the Iranians at least are a team of nationalistic players"), and it is indicated in the way Neonazi forums applaud the Iraqi resistance against the "cornflakes-soldiers" of the US. We have had meetings in Germany between representatives of organizations of both camps. we have seen local pacts and ceasefirings between violant groups and street crime parties.

Both Neonazism and islam are united in their hate on Israel, their hate on the Us and the values it stands for, and the attempt to destroy and opvercome the Western constitutional orders. Also both are unified in that they are icompatible with the values and laws the West stands for by it's historical origin and developement. And that is to have overcome the Inquisition, while Islam still insists on depending on Sharia, and Nazisms' obvious violent and hostile and racist face must not be commented, I think.

This does not mean that Nazis suddenly love subhumans and foreigners, and Muslims shake hand with atheist infidels. It's just another qact in the eternal play "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". At least locally, and sometimes.

Now - where is the public outcry? the muslim ambassadors being called in? The frantic street events featuring fireworks, hate chorusses and collective display of psychotic behavior? Where are the terror plots being planned against Mosques in retaliation, and the collective uproar for demanding defending against the aggression?

Looking at the cartoon now I agree, I can draw better than that! But even if it was a six year olds drawing the outcome will most likely be the same, you know how much the Middle East likes to over-react on such things, a little scribble brings cries of jihad and beheadings. Yet we turn the other cheek at the various "UK will burn with wrath of Allah" signs they love to wave around at their gatherings. I do ponder why, perhaps we don't want to stoop to their level? But more likely the fact that if one single anti-Islamic banner is waved, the police force will come down like a ton of bricks, because Islamaphobia is not allowed.... :hmm: :damn:

Maybe because we must not accept the hysteric temperament of a people with it's heads still sticking in the age of the inquisition as the criterion by which we decide what we do and what we do not do in our home, in our land, in our country, and in our culture. I mean, no Swedish man has asked a pakistani newspaper to print those cartoons. On the other hand, death-promising, highly racist and totally offending "cartoons" are published daily in the Muslim world that makes mockery of and ecourages intolerance against the West, Christianity, and especially Jews, and Israel, and even is broadcasted in daily special children programs on TV.

Do you have an idea how often I - as a German - was greeted and complimented in Muslims countries as a Nazi, a devout follower of Hitler (who is very much admired), and how often I was admired for the holocaust having happened (yep, the same holocaust the Iranians are denying), and that I should be proud of my ancestors for having killed so many jews? when doing my job, I had to bite my tongue and only turned icy, but when being private, I made clear in sharp words what i think of their unacceptable "compliments". Needless to say that I did not really win myself friends that way.

But for reasons of fairness i mujst say that althiugh such greetings were not rare, they also were not the rule. If needing to make a guess of how often it happened, I would say in 3 or 4 out of 10 contacts, also depending on where I was, of course.
