I did notice on the official Ubisoft site that the developers specifically state that the list of fixes is prefaced by the the quote, "Below are some of the changes that should be in the next patch:"

So they may have addressed some other the others issues, and just haven't included them on the published list at this point. Or maybe I'm just an optimist...

This "transparent crew" thing you've been talking about...does it only happens to those who has ATI cards? I'm curious.....

This is something that crossed my mind too. All the fixes in patches are not always listed in the readme.

I believe all cards. The transparent crew was to represent people in the fog and not clearly defined. It did not work out to well.

I have an nVidia card and can attest to the fact it happens with me too.

Anyways...I'm glad to see that they caught a nice cross section of the major bugs here. I just hope there isn't an influx of whiners when the patch is released...."ZOMG TEHY DIDNT FIX (insert whatever here) IM GONNA SUE UBISOFFT!"

Starting the thread now;)

Ahhh. My bad. I thought the transparent issue was only on ATI cards. Thanks for clarifying :D

Patch looks really good. Only issue not addressed that I was really hoping for was the looping sound problem. Anytime I go to a high TC value when I come back to 1x there is a looping sound (I've seen others here with the same problem). Its not a game killer I suppose, though it gets incredibly annoying after about 10 seconds of listening to it. Hopefully that will be addressed at some point. Overall though, patch looks great, I'm definitly pleased with the work they have done. Here's hoping there are more patches to come, especially those that are hard coded that our brilliant modders would not be able to fix.

I didnt get it..can we or can we not be abel to get the speed with the tdc or must we do as before...guess?

Hearing things

I think the looping sound problem maybe attributed to the 3D sound feature. i.e: the secondary explosions we hear are probably something to do with the time delay feature not working properly. Maybe if you have to have a 5.1 Channel capable soundcard or something to get the benefit? Does anybody out there have a kick-ass sound card that works fine with SH4?

Looks like it'll be a good patch and fix some of the major issues:up:

Only one thing missing from the list IMO... ...The release date!

"Early next week", they said.

I'm sure the stopwatch in the TDC has been fixed. That's a very prominent bug. For the casual gamer trying out manual TDC, that's definitely a game killer. Like someone said previously, I would imagine that the bug fixes and tweaks are probably too numerous to list in an announcement.

Anyway, I appreciate their efforts.

Creative X-FI works fine :D
