ooohh, a Lieutenant Commander. Let me tell you something: Using one man to generalize an entire populace makes the poster quite ignorant (which in this case happens to be you).

You are right if you want to understand my post like that. You sure can't do that and I wouldn't think of it. I refered to some forces in the area, not to an entire nation. Please read the posts exactly before accusing someone of such a thing.

What I was talking about is this concret event and the forces involved in it. If the ship's commander hadn't handled the situation in this cool manner, it could have been very dangerous.

Looks like it's not just the Lieutenant Commander who should think twice before he jumps to the defense when he is not under attack. ;)

As for the French they are just a bunch of chesse eating surender monkeys.
Enough of the attacks on the French. You all jump up and down when someone characterizes the United States or Great Britian unfairly. Accordingly, please do not do it to another nation or group of people.

Thank you,
The Management

The British press has now turned on them now they are free with comments like, "Where was there British stiff upper lip." And "You only give them your name rank and serial number." Typical remarks but it will not be long before one newspaper calls them something stronger.

I object to this post. Not only is it untrue, racist and rude to our longest standing allies who have shed their blood to defend our nation, it is also badly spelled which is indicative of the authors low intelligence.

Really?

It shows that they think before they shoot. Sadly this isn't true to all forces in the area.
By saying that (using proper English grammar) you referred to all of the forces in the area. So, yes, you did.

I agree, a little bit at least.

If it wasn't for the French, America wouldn't actually exist today.

America owes its very existance to the "cheese eating surrender monkeys"

You must have skipped your history lessons about WWII.

gnirtS 04-05-07 07:26 PM

I think you'll find (i) american didnt win WW2 but more importantly (ii) when america was first fighting for existance it was those cheese eating surrender monkeys that actually made it possible. Without them independence war would have been lost.

For an american you seem to know very little about a supposedly vital piece of your nations history.

I'm not going to argue about this nonsense your babbling about because it is off-topic in this thread. If you really feel it necessary to convince someone about your thoughts on this subject, then start your own thread. Thanks.

Oh, back on topic. Now that the sailors are free, lets give Iran a little spanking, shall we? :yep:

ASWnut101 04-05-07 08:00 PM

Dont'ya just love his sig?

I think that answers any questions to him about the whole Iran situation.

My two cents.

ASWnut101 04-05-07 08:05 PM

...Anyway, back on topic (or was I already?):

I'm glad to see the group home. I also feel bad about them about the media and thier questions.

Reporter: "You said that you were in Iranian waters. Are you anti coalition? Do you hate the west? Are you an Iranian spy?"

Just give them a rest. The last thing they need is the media looking through their windows and filming thier house at 2:00 a.m.

This thread is about the British sailors detained by the Iranian government in March/April of 2007. The Second World War ended in 1945. Create your own thread to engage in non-related semantics.

Thank you,
