Damn...those shots were very nice. Finally got a feel for how the damage screen works. Very interesting.

I agree. As I commented on another thread, I think that Damage Control system looks pretty neat.:sunny:

Err... that pic with what looks like a sub on the sea-floor... is it just me, or does the flora surrounding it look ever-so-slightly gigantonormous?

will if you look you can see shell holles in the side and deck of the sub on the seabed shot ( just forwerd of the tower ) so i gess that thats one of the new "blue screens of death":D

It's the same thing Bob... FSAA is just Full Screen Anti-Aliasing, (Anti-Aliasing, or AA for short) and forcing your card into using it is simply a matter of "switching" it on via driver control, rather than having it application controlled, which isn't always compliant.
|
Pre 8xxx nVidia-Cards cannot combine HDR and FSAA. They can only do either one. I guess that is one of the main reasons, why we don't see smoothed pics.
But what makes me wonder more about the sailors on the deck is the fact, they're still standing there, while the aft section is under water allready. |
The screenshots look good. I like the one of the sub resting on the seabed, though the scale looks off in that particular screenshot (looks like a model RC sub).
Release day can't get here soon enough. |
I noticed on the screenshots for the depth that is set 19m, as in meters?
Shouldn't be in feet??? :smug: |

So it's known that it's actually going to be feet?

The main dials are in imperial. I keep thinking I read somewhere that the devs stated SH4 would use imperial measurements as that's what the boats used and it's historically correct. I can't recall if or where I read that for certain.
