set the starting weather to 15 windspeed ans set the interval at 1 (((tryed 0.3 but didnt see a change either i need to go back to port before change or it didnt read it as .03 just 3))) at least this starts me in more believable condition flat calm for a week is rare in any northen waters even in the summer

I forgot to add that SH3 weather let you decide for random weather based on your patrol month or you can input yourself what you want. (I use random...)

yea but where is it located c/program files/ubi/ sh3/weather?

mission editor your can change weather every 2 hours

It's a program you have to download and it's a zip file with the readme inside...
If you don't find it, send me a pm with a mail address I can send it, it's around 300 k if I remember.

meanwhile in the mission editor they use an -h- in the weather change for hours 5h being 5 hours i will also try that in campaign folders:hmm:

Thanks Jimbuna. I'm currently in my first patrol near Scapa. Already downed 3 ships (2 merchant/1 DD), but got stuck in the net while trying to sneak into scapa flow :oops::damn: hehehe...

Does SH4 suffer from the same drawbacks as SH3 (meaning skipping objects in TC and simplistic weather)? Bear with me, this is the 3rd time I'm asking about this on this forum. At the moment I'm running SH3 at 128 max TC and having the same weather throughout the patrol. This is a real pain :damn:
