Its not a question of anything other than respecting the region the Ubi devs are working in and staying away from it

Who knows maybe in time someone will add the pacific to SH3 but for now that is the Ubi direction so we stayed away from it

I assume we are referring to the mid-Pacific here? Because is there not activity (if not mild) in the Southern Japan/Indonesia/Australia area?

In GWX there is activity in the Indian Ocean, around Australia and in the area around Indonesia. Everything else in the Pacific is empty space:cry:

I would guess that after SH4 is released for a while (and if there is no retro port w/sh3) a mod expansion will be done by someone to "pacific" pacify us guys that will still be sailing the U-boats.

Yes, in SH3, they don't expect you to spend time to do so (why don't you stay in Atantic??? Everything is there), since in unmodded ver, there is no base in Pacific / Indian Ocean
