Are you sure you have "10 1941.ogg" file in your events folder?

EDIT2:

I've confirmed the problem. It must be something related to radio events and 10 1941.ogg file...:hmmm:

EDIT 3 : SOLVED
The problem is blank space after the file extension ... MediaFile=10 1941.ogg_

I'll have to fix that...

Here is the new file which will be added in the next update...http://www.mediafire.com/file/21m6yu...vents.ini/file

1. Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. GTX 960, i5-4460 3.2 GHz 8GB RAM
2. UPlay, key purchased online.
3. Yes.
4. Fresh install.
5. I haven't run JGSME or anything else since I am fearful it will worsen the situation.

While I was running the .exe to install the mod, I received this error, right at the very end of the installation:
"Some installation files are corrupt, please download a fresh copy and retry the installation.
CRC failed in data\Sound\Radio\Grossdeutscher Rundfunk\Events\04 1939.ogg
Unexpected end of archive"

What should I do?

Download and try with new v2.2.15 full installer.

If you've used v2.2.14 before then no. Just run the installer over your existing game.

I haven't opened the game or any file at all after the error, so I'm not sure if it's installed, I just left it there and posted the report on the forum. Should I just run the installer over?

What worked for me was deleting all nodes named "notset" in S3D with "KeyFrameAnimStartParams" child nodes under them, like these in a screenshot below:

Hey gents. Recently tried installing TWoS only to be constantly met with this issue.

I've got the steam version of the game so i feel like that may be the issue but i've tried literally everything that i could find but haven't seen any improvement.

Every time i try a new method of installation i have 100% totally uninstalled all trace of the game so i honestly don't know what else to try.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Change game installation location and try again but with full administrations rights...Good luck! :salute:

Tried it on 3 seperate drives already, still no luck.

@Barsy i've got a same, then i gave in steam, and buy version in uplay. cheaper than steam.
