Nope, not as far as I know...

Moonlight 11-07-15 11:30 AM

I can't see the connection between Val Kilmer and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa Mr Squirrel so I'll start with something simple, is the films title just one word.

Aktungbby 11-07-15 11:54 AM

^:DU go Gal! ride BBY ride!

Eichhörnchen 11-07-15 12:09 PM

Yes, one word

Aktungbby 11-07-15 12:32 PM

Was there a bomb?

Moonlight 11-07-15 01:45 PM

I believe Aktungbby has got it, I'll leave it to him to finish it off.

Eichhörnchen 11-07-15 02:47 PM

You two buggas: both telling me you want to leave it for the other one; it was too easy, wasn't it?

You'll have to do the honours, Moonlight (chairman's ruling) only don't make it as hard as the last one.:haha:

Aktungbby 11-07-15 03:12 PM

our revels now are ended

:woot:"Finishing it off" was what the movie was about as I recollect. Alright: so much deference: bowing and scraping! Here's one easy one ...for any Brit: http://thumb7.shutterstock.com/displ...-136314155.jpg +http://www.phrases.org.uk/images/salt.jpg = Big hint: ben Johnson:shifty: ?

Eichhörnchen 11-07-15 04:06 PM

Back up the bus there... mebbe we should tell the viewers at home the name of the movie, although I get the sneaking feeling that we three are the only ones up this tree at the moment...

Aktungbby 11-07-15 04:22 PM

OOPS Val Kilmer + Dame Kiri (Opera star soprano)= Valkyrie as also featured in Apocalypse Now

That's correct... still pondering your puzzle.

I don't know whether that's a clock or an ornate tea caddy...

Moonlight 11-10-15 03:15 PM

I think its neither of them Mr Squirrel, me thinks its an ornate salt cellar. :hmmm:
I've no idea what Ben Johnson has to do with this either.:/\\!!

Jeeze! too easy; with that big hint of mine: should be jif! Whether an album, a poem, a novel, or where you sit at the table tis all the same!:O: And it's so Brit! Especially for the saucy sailors infesting this forum eyeing the wine dark seas from the steel span of their respective mancave bridges!:03:

Eichhörnchen 11-11-15 05:30 AM

Now do you mean Ben Johnson or Ben Jonson?

Moonlight 11-11-15 07:12 AM

I think you're right about Ben Jonson Mr Squirrel, the playwright is the one we should be focusing on and not the former athlete.

Quote:

Our revels now are ended is a line from Shakespeares The Tempest Act 4 Scene 1
PROSPERO
You do look, my son, in a moved sort,
As if you were dismay'd: be cheerful, sir.
Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Ye all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep. Sir, I am vex'd;
Bear with my weakness; my, brain is troubled:
Be not disturb'd with my infirmity:
If you be pleased, retire into my cell
And there repose: a turn or two I'll walk,
To still my beating mind.
Jonson is generally regarded as the second most important English dramatist, after William Shakespeare, during the reign of James I.

Yep that's me as well, I have no idea as yet where Aktungbby is going with this, another clue for the mentally disabled would be much appreciated old bean.
