Okay, I started at the Last page of this thread and have read back 5 pages.. I'm running out of IRL life and have to log off.

Is the patch coming out today or not? Only 3 more hours left in the day.

No, the patch is not coming out. There's currently no ETA, but I wouldn't expect it till mid-May.

Okay, just knowing helps. Not any big deal at all as long as I'm told up front. With TheDarkWraith doing what he is doing I'm as happy as a clam.. as is. :)

Just as well.. i've pretty much quit caring about the game at the moment. Having fun playing Battlefield Bad Company 2 multiplayer atm. Will check back in a month.

I do the same and already uninstalled the game. There is no point waiting for a patch that is constantly delayed, no ETA form Ubi .. this is a nightmare and I better waste my time with other games that works and where the consumers gets more respect. The only interest left regarding SH5 is this place and the community.

Just curious...
Why uninstall the game just because the patch isn't out? Why not just leave it there and it will be ready when the patch does come out? Uninstalling seems like extra work to me.

Unless you're hard-up for hard drive space.

When I was a kid I had to uninstall Windows to make room for Doom (all 8 floppy disks... a whopping 12 MB!) when I wanted to play.

I'm not criticizing you... I'm just wondering if there's some advantage that I don't know about.

I bought ARMA 2 last night, great game. SH5 is over for now for me.

ummmmmmmmmmm yeah............ actually I lied.... I thought about it and it reminds me more or less of when My father abandoned the family.....

Silent hunter 5 is most certainly that redheaded stepchild :nope:

but no....really, my parents still love each other.... just thought people reading it would get a laugh..... oh well time for bed.

Try it with a TrackerIR5 well worth the $£Y:salute:

Well worth the waiting.Lets give time to developers to work on a good 1.2 Patch, adressing lots of bugs and perhaps adding new things like `The Officers Quarters¨ into type VII?

Actually I had to reinstall the whole OS and I can't be bothered to reinstall SH5 too just for nothing. I'm back to WoW so that will keep me busy enough. I will watch the forum and see what you guys think about the patch (if it will be released this year) then I will start to play it again. Right now is just a waste of time and hdd space.

If you were with ARMA 2 from the beginning, you would know the irony of this statement.

Delayed, but comming...

At least they are looking into more things now. As weather being reset in a save etc.
