The Packers fought and clawed for sure Kevin! Good season! As for the Ravens, next week will be the end of their season for them. Manning/Colts....class act. However, having the Steelers on the sidelines in street clothing watching the playoffs, beating the Patriots, makes my season complete! :yeah:

Hey, my wife got me a new Ravens sweatshirt! So it's all good! :D

I was pleased they did not roll over in the second half. That should bode well for them going forward. As much as it sucks now, there is always next year to look forward to.

Massive win for the Ravens, I was not surprised as they are on the upswing. Should be interesting when they play the Colts, they will be in tough, but it's one game & anything can happen.

Manning is a great QB. Very hard to beat and he runs his own squad. If they are at the opposing teams stadium the fans can scream as loud as they like attempting to screw up the hike of the ball. It does no good. Manning uses hand signals. He just has a good squad. Our regular season game was close however. 17-15 I believe. Flacco is not up to snuff with what looks to be a hip and ankle issue. The throwing game with the Pats was not there. Fortunate for the Ravens Ray Rice is small and runs under everybody getting lost in the crowd with the ball. When the whistle blows everyone finds he has gotten yet another first down. The Colts will know this and be looking for Rice. Other than that if the defense pressures Manning like they did Brady they might be able to pull it off.

Second time this week I've seen the blind side blitz decide the game. First in the Texas-Bama game, now in the Packers-Redbirds game. That's a powerful weapon if it's not used until a crucial situation.

This will be key, if Manning has time in the pocket he has a lot of weapons to
give the ball to.

Also, was it me or was the officiating in the Packers game REALLY bad?

I love Fitz but two of his TDs came right after running over a DB.

And what about this?

Sheesh! Call that obvious foul and Packer retain the ball and get a first down? Or does the ball come out before the foul, so the ball goes to the Cards, with a penalty? Video here.

Rodgers overthrew Jennings in the first play of the overtime. Had that pass been completed it would have ended then and there.

Yeah the Jennings overthrow hurt :yep:

Good question regarding the above play. I am not sure? If it was called, I am thinking the Cards still keep the ball ( ball is stripped first, then the face mask ), but are moved back 15 yards because of the penalty. Which still puts them within FG range with a fresh set of downs to get even closer.

That is why pressure needs to be applied. You will note that the Ravens defense knew the plays of the Patriots. The tapes were studied well in advance concerning formations and what was coming. For a better part of the game the defense was ready for Brady and what was coming. Brady was offered quite a bit of time on a few plays. His players kept dropping the ball. They had plenty of opportunity to score and did not. It was a nail biter with the Colts in the regular season. This time I expect a nail biter. I hope the Ravens will be on top when the grass settles after 60 minutes.

Once again the Ravens will have to depend on the entire defensive staff and one short stocky guy by the name of Ray Rice. :D

Billicheck has not eaten yet today. He said he had enough Rice yesterday. :D

You're telling me ...

... or how about the Roughing the Passer called on the Pack, after the guy was thrown into Warner by an illegal hold, AND still hits him BEFORE the ball was even let go? What should have been a 10 yard holding penalty against Arizona instead was a 15 yard RtP against Green Bay!

Or what about the helmet to helmet hit on Rodgers the play BEFORE the fumble that just happened to be missed?

It should be pretty easy to win when you don't have to follow the rules... yet it still took 51 points.

I'm disgusted. :damn::dead::doh:
