The rumour flying around is that Button took a pay cut on the agreement that it would go back up once things had been sorted out and the WDC and WDC won.

So If there was such an agreement then it should be honoured.

Off course there is so much BS going around at the moment it is hard who to believe.

Button admits he did take a cut (5 million £ or so) and that he even had to pay most of his plane tickets to and from GP`s this season. Thats quite extraordinary.

Mmmm...I wonder if we are going to see teams ENTER the Formula 1 instead of them all leaving.

if this trend keeps up we won't see many cars on the grid next year :dead:

I'm wondering if the newcomers Lotus, Campos Meta, Manor and USF1 will have the 'staying power' or 'pedigree' to last long in F1?

Dowly 11-20-09 01:11 PM

Goddammit... :-?

Kimi Räikkönen will not compete in the next Formula One season, reports the newspaper Turun Sanomat. Negotiations with McLaren have broken off and the ex-world champion has no other options, the driver's manager Steve Robertson told the paper.
